The Digg Effect - Can your hosting plan handle this? [Pic]

Meta Titan traffic spike yesterday, I found this amusing:

Digg Effect

The fort held up, but it really puts it into perspective for those who are on penny and dime hosting plans.

I have been using hostgator for a year now and i have had no down times except once.That time contacted support and they restarted the server immediately.I don’t know if my baby plan can handle a handle a digg effect.But i have different sites on this host and they all receive about 2000 visits a day and i have had no problems. As my friends say hostgator is better than godaddy from they personal experience.
